Two are used, for example, in rubbers, lubricants, and sealants, and have been included because they negatively affect fertility. The fourth is used in lubricants and greases and has been added as it is persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic, and therefore harmful to the environment.

4 New Hazardous Chemicals Added

In January of 2022, the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) released a list of 223 substances that are considered to be hazardous chemicals. These new additions to the list add 4 new hazardous chemicals to the list.
